Google Chrome Passes Internet Explorer To Become World’s Most Used Browser

Google’s Chrome browser, which doesn’t come pre-installed on any computer (PC or Mac), has jumped past Internet Explorer, which is pre-installed in over 90% of all the (PC) computers, to become the most popular web browser.

This information comes from StatCounter. While its own data may not be totally accurate, most other analytics groups seem to be indicating the same trend. This is one of the mains reasons why when we design a web site our web designers test the sites we program in a variety of platforms and browsers, including Google Chrome.
